PR yourself…meet DDA’s Aimee Anderson at our next Q&A

We warmly welcome our next guest speaker, the lovely Aimee Anderson from DDA.

In true Tweetup style we are keeping things interesting. In the month of August our guest speaker will join the UK Actors Tweetup and talk about all things PR related for industry professionals.  Aimee has a wealth of experience, heading up DDA’s International Brand Publicity team.  Her focus is and specialisation is in the business of film, and managing international PR campaigns for global entertainment companies.

The tweetup begins promptly at 6.30pm for an hour during which time guests can ask Aimee any questions they have about PR and branding for themselves and festivals. Aimee is truly a pro in this department. Guests are then invited to join everyone downstairs for an informal networking night of fun and discussion.

Aimee has worked with a variety of large global brands and personalities in numerous industries throughout her ten year career, including launching the British Film Institute’s (BFI) digital archive with Academy Award-winning® Director the late Anthony Minghella, the then Chairman of the BFI, media training Disney executives, positioning Carlsberg as the major sponsor of the England Football Team for the World Cup 2006 and promoting Gillette where she worked with Thierry Henry, Tiger Woods and Roger Federer internationally running the Gillette Champions campaign 2006-2008. Prior to joining DDA, Anderson worked for global PR agency Porter Novelli where she was responsible for managing strategic international PR campaigns.
