Meet the Blaine Brothers and Producer Cassandra Sigsgaard

nina forever signatureCome in out of the rain and join us for a cosy Q&A and networking session…The Blaine Brothers and their producer Cassandra Sigsgaard will be joining us to talk about their latest project – indie feature Nina Forever and what they’ve got in the pipeline for the rest of this year.

The Blaine’s are renowned for their award-winning comic short films, our favourite being ‘Hallo Panda’ – a must watch!

In the past twelve months the brothers have been nominated for a BIFA award, directed sketches for the BBC, a taster for Tiger Aspect and a critically acclaimed Edinburgh show called ‘Where’s Barry’. Previously they have featured in Screen International’s ‘Stars of Tomorrow’, been shortlisted for a Bafta 3 times and the London Short Film Festival held a retrospective of their work at the ICA.

Nina Forever is the Blaine’s debut feature – a magic realist tale of grief and sex with darkly comic undertone.

Producer Cassandra Sigsgaard was Head of Development at Silverlight Media and has line produced international co-productions such as the Treasure Island Kids trilogy. Cassandra’s company Jeva Films has an exciting slate of movies in various stages of production.
