The TweetFest is live on FILM FREEWAY

Everyone LOVES a sequel and we’re back with TWEETFEST 2016

Film FreewayWe’ve just launched our TWEETFEST 2016, taking place at the Hackney Picturehouse, with our call for short film submissions happening exclusively on FILMFREEWAY. This is only open to UK ACTORS TWEETUP members (you are a member if you are receiving this email) so we’d like to officially invite you all to participate…Entries are now open and will be open until 6pm GMT on Sept 21st (regular deadline) and Oct 1st (late deadline).

If you have a film that’s under 12mins (including credits) and was made in the last two years then we would love you to submit it. There are a few T & C’s to read, nothing too scary.

There is a small fee to submit to the festival this year – £5 (US $6.50) for films submitted by the regular deadline and £10 for films submitted by the late deadline.

In the spirit of what the UK Actors Tweetup team (and all our international counterparts) aim to create, this is all about sharing the remarkable work of the people who make our events so magical – YOU!

Below is the team working behind the scenes for 2016. These guys will be previewing all the entries (we promise every film will be watched), and we’ll soon be announcing a VIP panel of judges who’ll be picking a winner from our final line-up.

The Gala event will be taking place on November 1st 2016 at The Hackney Attic/Hackney Picturehouse, with a very nominal ticket fee to attend. And of course if you are desperate to volunteer and help us run the event, do drop us an email. We have a few spaces open for volunteers on the event day.

On the Festival night there will also be an Audience Award for your favourite short with prizes for both our overall Short Film Festival winner (judged by the VIP panel) and the winner of the Audience Award.
